Why did this happen?

Most non-healing wounds happen because of factors outside of your control.  Conditions like diabetes, venous insufficiency, and arterial disease make it difficult for your body to heal.  Your blood flow might not be healthy, keeping oxygen and nutrients from reaching your wound once it occurs.  All of this can cause a delay in the healing of your wound.

Some indications for wound therapy include:

  • Pressure ulcers
  • Surgical wounds
  • Diabetic ulcers
  • Vasculitis/edema (swelling of extremities)
  • Neuropathic ulcers
  • Burns
  • Ischemic ulcers
  • Peristomal skin irritations
  • Venous insufficiency
  • Traumatic wounds
  • Other chronic, non-healing wounds

  • Wound dressings
  • Compression therapy
  • Edema management
  • Non-invasive vascular assessment
  • Wound consultation/evaluation
  • Cellular and tissue based products
