The Betty Baker Wound Care Center at Colorado Plains Medical Center's staff will develop a treatment program based on the patient's individual needs. The program will include regular visits to the Wound Care Center to provide treatment, evaluate progress, and make changes needed to improve the healing process. Most insurance plans include wound care treatment. Coverage depends on your specific plan. We accept most insurance plans as well as Medicare, Medicaid, and VA coverage plans. We also work with self-pay patients and offer pre-pay discounts and/or payment plans. Please bring your insurance information with you on your first visit.

Our wound care nurse specialist also offers a nail clipping service for those patients who have a difficult time trimming nails or who need to take extra precautions to safely perform this personal hygiene activity. We offer this as a cash pay program. Cost for this service is $25 per visit.
