Dr. Wolfsohn has 33 years of experience in the field of mental health. He obtained a Master’s of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Hunter College, City University of New York in 1977 and his doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology in 1984 from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He has been licensed as a psychologist in Colorado since 1989. Dr. Wolfsohn did his clinical doctoral internship training at the Health Sciences Center and Southwestern Medical School in Dallas Texas.

He has been an adjunct professor at the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology for the past 14 years and has taught forensic psychological testing in the University of Denver’s American Psychological Association approved Consortium Internship as well. He has provided more than 3500 psychological evaluations for probation departments, community corrections programs, courts, attorneys, social service agencies, special advocates, and agencies that serve developmentally disabled individuals.

Dr. Wolfsohn is the clinical director, and former owner, of the Colorado Assessment and Treatment Center (CATC), a forensic mental health and substance abuse clinic. He is also the clinical consultant to Adams County Adult and Adolescent Diversion programs through the Adams County District Attorney’s Office. In addition to his private counseling services, he also provides a wide-range of training seminars regarding mental health and behavioral issues.

His 2008 plans include a full-time office in Fort Morgan in the Colorado Plains Medical Center’s Medical Office Building.
